Woods & Co have partnered with an established volume residential builder in Melbourne's western suburbs to appoint an experienced Sales Estimator to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has direct experience in volume building and understands the ins and outs of estimating, pricing and preparing accurate building quotes in a fast-paced workplace.

The Role

Working closely with the sales and drafting teams, you will be responsible for ensuring building designs are accurately priced and that clients receive competitive, commercially sound proposals.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing accurate sales estimates and building quotations for new home builds.
- Reviewing architectural plans, engineering documentation and specifications.
- Pricing variations, upgrades and client selections.
- Working closely with Sales Consultants to ensure pricing accuracy and profitability.
- Reviewing plans for buildability, materials and construction requirements.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to confirm costs and lead times.
- Ensuring estimates are completed within required timeframes.

About You We are looking for a senior-level estimator with proven, direct experience within a volume residential building environment.

To be successful, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience as a Sales Estimator with a volume residential builder.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction, building materials and pricing.




- The ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- A strong understanding of volume building processes and cost structures.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- The ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with internal stakeholders.
