An exciting opportunity is available with an established residential builder with a strong presence in the Victorian market. With a diverse pipeline spanning new homes, knockdown rebuilds and more customised residential projects, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Estimator looking for variety, stability and quality project exposure.

This role will suit someone who enjoys the technical side of estimating, takes pride in getting the detail right and is confident working through customised designs, pricing options and evolving client requirements.

The Role

Working within an experienced estimating team, you will take ownership of sales estimating across the front end of the building journey. The role offers plenty of variety, covering initial pricing and site costs through to tenders, customisations and variations.

You’ll work closely with sales and other key internal stakeholders to ensure pricing is accurate, commercially considered and supports a smooth customer journey.

Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate sales estimates, quotes and tenders
- Assess plans, specifications and customer requirements
- Provide indicative site costs and upfront pricing guidance




- Price customisations, upgrades and design changes
- Support pricing throughout the tender process
- Prepare and assess variations as required
- Work closely with sales and internal stakeholders to resolve pricing queries
- Ensure estimates are accurate, detailed and completed within required timeframes

What You Will Bring

- Previous estimating experience within residential construction
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of pricing accuracy
- Experience working with customised designs and variations
- Sound understanding of residential construction methods and costs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy setting
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Knockdown rebuild experience will be highly regarded
- Framework and Databuild experience preferred but not essential
