About the Role

This is a casual position commencing late January 2027, with work continuing throughout Term 1 and Term 2. Our photographers typically:

- Start early (on-site by 7:00–7:30AM) and work through the school day

- Travel to different schools across the North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne

- Set up and pack down photography equipment each day

- Work closely with school staff and students to capture a range of images, including: Individual student portraits (Pre-school, Primary, and Secondary) Class and staff group photos

- Expect a fast-paced, physically active workday filled with energy, laughter, and rewarding challenges.





What We’re Looking For

You’re someone who

- Loves working with children of all ages

- Has a great eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work

- Thrives under pressure and adapts quickly to changing situations

- Is punctual, reliable, and a robust team player

- Communicates clearly and confidently with both adults and children

- Presents professionally and maintains a friendly, approachable manner

Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Canon cameras and basic lighting techniques
- A solid understanding of both indoor and outdoor photography

- Prior experience in school photography or working with children
- A background in customer service or similar people-facing roles

Requirements To be considered, you must have:

- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

- A valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle

- Availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility for varying hours
- The ability to lift equipment and be on your feet for extended periods

Location

Our office is based in Bundoora, with photography assignments across the North East Melbourne region.
