Profectus is seeking multiple experienced Agile Scrum Masters to support the delivery of ICT projects within an Australian Government agency. You will run the Agile ceremonies for cross functional delivery teams, coach team members and stakeholders in Agile practice, and keep delivery moving by removing impediments and managing risks and dependencies. The work covers sprint planning, daily standups, reviews and retrospectives, backlog refinement, Agile metrics and reporting to governance forums.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate Agile delivery ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives and backlog refinement
- Coach team members, product owners and stakeholders in Agile principles and practices
- Support the development of high performing, cross functional delivery teams
- Encourage a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning
- Identify and remove impediments affecting delivery
- Escalate issues through the appropriate governance channels when required
- Manage risks and dependencies across concurrent ICT projects
- Prepare reports for governance forums and steering committees
- Track and communicate Agile metrics including velocity, sprint predictability, burn down and burn up charts and delivery progress
- Support continuous improvement across the delivery section

Required Experience

- Demonstrated experience leading Agile delivery teams in complex ICT environments and delivering business outcomes through Scrum and Agile practice




- Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Demonstrated experience coaching individuals and teams in Agile principles and developing self managing teams
- Demonstrated ability to identify, assess and manage risks, dependencies and impediments affecting delivery
- Practical knowledge of Agile frameworks, methodologies and tools applied in a complex ICT environment
- Experience preparing reporting for governance forums and steering committees
- Experience working across multiple concurrent ICT projects

Desirable Experience

- Experience within the Australian Public Service, Defence or another regulated environment
- Scrum or Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, Protected or ICAgile
- Experience with Agile tooling such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience supporting Agile delivery within a project or program management office
- Experience working across both Agile and traditional delivery methods

Security Clearance Requirements

- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must have a current AGSVA Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance
