The opportunity
St Saviour's College is seeking a passionate Secondary Japanese Teacher. Whether you are an experienced educator or an early career teacher, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team of professionals committed to excellence in Catholic education. You will play a key role in creating safe, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating learning environments, leveraging state-of-the-art technology to enhance student engagement and deepen understanding across a range of concepts.
This role will see you undertake the following.
- Deliver enlivening Japanese classes to students across years 7-12.
- Immerse students in Japanese culture through a range of co-curricular undertakings.
- Work with established partnerships to continue exchange students and visiting student programs.

- The ability to teach in at least one additional subject area is desirable.
- Experience delivering Senior Japanese syllabus and QCAA senior schooling processes.
- Willingness to coordinate and take the International Study Tour to Japan (every two years).
- Passionate about educating girls and committed to achieving outstanding learning outcomes.
- Hold or be eligible to hold registration as a teacher in Queensland.
