About the role: You can expect to work across:

- Defence of public liability, product liability, professional indemnity and third-party property damage claims.
- Coverage and risk management advice for underwriters and self-insured corporates.
- Statutory claims brought by workers and the relevant workers compensation authority.
- Managing your own file load while delegating to junior solicitors and working in tandem with a supervising partner.
- Direct client engagement, business development and marketing opportunities.

The ideal candidate:

- 4+ years' PQE with substantial experience in general insurance casualty and/or professional indemnity claims,



including defence work and coverage advice.
- Ability to manage a file load autonomously while delegating effectively.
- Excellent written skills and the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with policyholders, insurers, other parties and the courts.
- A desire to develop your career and networks in the general insurance industry, with a can-do, team-player attitude.
