A little about the role

As a Senior Case Worker, you will work in the Family Support and Wellbeing Service which includes the Early Intervention Family Support Services (EIFS) and the Family Carer Support Service (FCSS). You will:

- Work alongside parents, carers, and families to provide practical support, guidance, and case management utilising the KAA Practice Framework that builds on strengths and helps achieve positive family outcomes.
- Complete assessments and develop family-centred plans that strengthen parenting capacity, enhance family wellbeing, and promote safe, nurturing environments for children.
- Build strong relationships with families, community partners, and the Department of Communities to coordinate supports and connect families with the services they need.
- Share your experience and knowledge with colleagues through mentoring, supervision,



and collaborative case discussions, helping to foster a supportive team culture.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records, reports, and documentation in line with organisational policies and service requirements.

The base salary for this position is $105,570.40 - $110,350.76/annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + mobile phone + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. Company Car/Vehicle allowance and fuel card will be provided + regional remote allowances will be discussed at interview. This position is a permanent full-time position.

About you

- Qualifications / Training in youth/social work/community services or equivalent is essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of working directly with children/young and families
- The ability to demonstrate experience working with parents/carers and children/young people in a trauma informed way is essential
- It is desirable that you have experience in leadership or supervisory roles
- A sound working knowledge and understanding of IT systems is essential
