Our client is a large NSW Government organisation undertaking a major HCM transformation program.

The program is modernising workforce systems, processes and ways of working, with a focus on creating a more integrated and consistent user experience across a large and geographically dispersed organisation.

Role Description:

The Senior Change Manager will lead change management and business readiness activities across the HCM transformation program, supporting stakeholders through multiple upcoming program releases and ensuring the organisation is prepared to adopt current systems, processes and ways of working.

Responsibilities include:

- Lead change management and business readiness activities across upcoming HCM program releases

- Develop and implement change strategies, change plans, stakeholder analysis, impact assessments and business readiness deliverables

- Define change success measures and identify risks affecting readiness, adoption and benefits realisation

- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the program and business

- Conduct change impact, business readiness and adoption analysis to inform targeted interventions

- Partner with communications and learning teams to deliver an integrated approach to engagement, communications, training and readiness

- Work closely with program workstreams to understand scope, priorities and dependencies

- Lead operational readiness, transition and hypercare activities

- Support structured handover into BAU following go-live

- Contribute to benefits realisation through adoption measurement, sentiment tracking and readiness analytics





- Provide strategic direction while remaining hands-on across change delivery throughout the program lifecycle

Skills and Experience:

- 5+ years' experience leading organisational change within large-scale programs

- Demonstrated experience delivering multiple end-to-end change implementations, ideally over 12 months in duration

- Demonstrated experience delivering technology-enabled business transformation

- HCM SaaS / HR technology transformation experience highly desirable

- Experience delivering change across large, complex and geographically dispersed organisations

- Strong experience across business readiness, operational readiness, transition and hypercare

- Experience with adoption measurement, sentiment tracking and readiness analytics

- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills

- Demonstrated ability to operate between strategic planning and hands-on delivery

- Practical and adaptable approach to designing fit-for-purpose change strategies and interventions

- NSW Government experience an advantage
