An exciting 12-month Expression of Interest opportunity is available for a Senior Clinical Data and ICT Officer (Band 4) within Population Screening and Cancer Prevention. The role supports the management, analysis and quality assurance of clinical and screening program data, while assisting with ICT systems, reporting, projects and stakeholder engagement. The position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of BreastScreen Tasmania data and information systems.

The successful candidate will bring:

- Experience managing data, records or information systems, ideally within a health environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals.
- Well developed analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret and report on data.
- Robust organisational skills, including the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and contribute to ICT or data related projects.

Details of Appointment

- Fixed term
- Commencing as soon as possible until 14 September 2027
- Full time - 76 hpf
- Day worker

Classification

General Stream Band 4

Salary

$85,196 - $97,915 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025

Eligibility Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

- Tertiary qualifications in information systems, health research methods, or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience .
