The Role

This is a Senior Collections Officer appointment with end to end ownership of an arrears portfolio within a financial services lending environment. You will engage customers with professionalism and empathy, secure sustainable repayment outcomes, and be accountable for portfolio performance.

- Manage an arrears portfolio through structured customer engagement across multiple channels
- Lead sensitive negotiations to agree sustainable repayment arrangements
- Maintain accurate case documentation to support sound, audit ready decision making
- Exercise commercial judgment on recovery strategy, including escalation where required
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external parties on complex matters
- Support secured asset recovery activity, including valuation input and vendor coordination
- Contribute to process improvement and deliver against agreed performance measures




- Build productive relationships with partner contacts on portfolio related issues

The Candidate You will be an accomplished collections professional with substantial experience managing arrears in a financial services or Accounts Receivable environment. You communicate with clarity and composure, and you take ownership of outcomes.

- 3 to 5+ years collections and arrears experience within financial services or commercial accounts receivable
- Demonstrated success negotiating repayment outcomes on challenging accounts
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Organised, resilient and accountable for portfolio performance
- Collaborative approach with internal teams and external stakeholders

Remuneration and Benefits

- $85,000 base + bonus
