The Role

As a Senior Modern Work Consultant, you will lead the design, advisory, and delivery of innovative Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions for our clients. This role goes beyond technical implementation, requiring a trusted adviser who can engage with stakeholders, shape strategic outcomes, and translate business needs into scalable, high-value solutions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced experience across Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and migration tooling such as AvePoint Fly and ShareGate. You will also bring strong knowledge of governance, information architecture, records and information management, and data security practices across the Contemporary Workplace landscape.

This role is suited to someone who can work strategically with clients to understand business challenges, define fit-for-purpose solutions, and provide leadership across the full engagement lifecycle, from discovery and advisory through to design, delivery oversight, and continuous improvement.

This role is open to permanent full-time candidates, and those who are open to contracting as well. A police clearance check will be required for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a trusted adviser to clients on Microsoft Modern Workplace strategy, architecture, and roadmap planning
- Lead discovery, workshops, and stakeholder engagement to define business needs and translate them into practical solution outcomes




- Shape and recommend end-to-end solutions across collaboration, content management, governance, automation, and employee experience
- Provide strategic and functional leadership across solution design and delivery engagements
- Advise clients on best practice approaches for Microsoft 365 adoption, governance, security, and information management
- Lead or oversee complex migration, transformation, and modernisation initiatives
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution shaping, estimation, and proposal input
- Build strong executive and operational stakeholder relationships, acting as a credible and confident client-facing leader
- Mentor consultants and contribute to internal capability uplift, delivery quality, and practice development

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience in a Senior Consultant, Consultant, or equivalent client-facing advisory role within Professional Services or enterprise transformation environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex engagements from discovery through to solution definition and delivery
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align technology solutions to client business objectives
- Deep expertise across Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies and their practical application in enterprise environments
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders and executives
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance client needs, delivery quality, and business outcomes
- Experience contributing to solution architecture, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring others and building strong client and internal relationships
