UKnighted Recruitment is partnering with established commercial construction companies across Melbourne looking for experienced Contract Administrators and Senior Contract Administrators to join their growing project teams.
These are builders with strong reputations, experienced leadership teams and secured project pipelines , delivering significant commercial projects across Melbourne and Victoria.

The Opportunities
We have multiple positions available across established Tier 1 / Tier 2 commercial construction environments , with opportunities to work across a range of commercial projects.
Depending on your experience, you’ll take ownership of the commercial and contractual aspects of your projects while working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and senior leadership.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing head contracts and subcontract agreements
- Procurement and letting of subcontractor packages
- Managing progress claims, variations, EOTs and contractual correspondence
- Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management
- Negotiating with subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Identifying and managing commercial risk
- Working closely with site and project teams throughout delivery
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting
- Mentoring junior CAs and Project Coordinators at Senior CA level
- Taking genuine commercial ownership from procurement through to project completion
What We're Looking For
You'll ideally bring
- 5+ years' experience within Australian commercial construction
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator
- Experience delivering medium to large-scale commercial projects
- Robust understanding of Australian construction contracts
- Confidence managing subcontractor procurement, variations, claims and financial reporting
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Experience with platforms such as Procore, Aconex, Jobpac or similar
- A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership
