Role: Data Engineer (AWS SQL)

Location: Sydney

Permanent (Fulltime)

- A Bachelor’s or Post-Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field, and/or 3 years relevant experience.
- Database (3NF) / data warehouse modelling (e.g. Star schema, Kimball, Snowflake, Hybrid) experience highly desirable
- Data engineering with ETL/ELT tools or code pipelines or data analytics experience
- Certification or working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall principles and methodologies
- Experience with DevOps & CI/CD desirable but not critical
- Experience with Data Lake, Data Mesh, AWS Cloud, Analytics, Cloud Reporting and/or Machine Learning desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated strengths in Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSMS) and code scripting e.g. Linux/Unix Scripting (bash, ksh), PowerShell
- Experience with AWS S3, Apache Airflow, Glue, Qlik, SAP Business Objects desirable
- Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira) or MS SharePoint desirable




- Experience with incident management tools and workflows (e.g. support ticket applications)
- Understanding of business applications, interfaces and integrated operational environments
- Good understanding of Data Platforms, Data models and Reporting (including Dashboards)
