Details: The position of Senior Director (SOG A), Performance and Systems, Planning, Evidence and Analytics Branch will be available for temporary backfilling from 28 September to 20 October 2026.

Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are sought from staff with the necessary skills and experience to undertake the role during this period. Current SOG C staff are encouraged to apply. The position may be filled at the SOG A or SOG B level based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

Key priorities during the period include managing/overseeing:

- Data submissions to the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA), the Australian Government Department of Education and the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) for national reporting
- August ACT school census wrap-up, including preparation of the census publication
- Data requests as required
- Preparation of briefings for Schools Policy Group, the Australian Education Senior Officials Committee and Education Ministers Meetings as required.
