As a Senior Finance Business Partner – Institutional Banking, you will play a key role in providing commercial finance support, performance insight and decision support to senior business stakeholders.

Working within a collaborative Finance team, the role will have a particular focus on business performance, forecasting, commercial analysis and strategic decision support, helping translate complex financial drivers into clear insights, recommendations and actions.

You will be responsible for:

- Acting as a senior Finance partner to Institutional Banking leadership and senior stakeholders
- Providing commercial insight across revenue, costs, balance sheet, funding, capital, investments and returns
- Supporting actuals, forecasting and planning cycles, providing clear analysis of key drivers, risks and opportunities
- Developing clear performance narratives and recommendations to support senior decision-making
- Challenging assumptions and identifying opportunities to improve financial and commercial performance
- Providing financial analysis across investment decisions, change initiatives and business cases
- Working closely with Planning, Treasury, Risk, Financial Control and other Finance teams




- Coordinating Finance inputs and ensuring clear ownership across complex stakeholder groups
- Driving improvements to Finance processes, ways of working and the quality of management information

This is a broad, commercially focused opportunity offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to help shape how Finance partners with a major Institutional Banking business. The Candidate The ideal candidate will bring:

- Robust Finance Business Partnering, commercial finance or performance management experience
- Experience within banking
- Strong understanding of forecasting, planning, financial performance and decision support
- Exposure to Institutional/Corporate Banking would be highly regarded
- An appropriate Finance qualification, CA/CPA
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to understand and challenge key financial drivers
- Confidence operating with senior and executive-level stakeholders
- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insights and recommendations
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative, hands-on approach with the ability to operate across multiple priorities
