About the role Reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Performance & Analysis, this is a senior finance role that will play a pivotal role in shaping the College’s financial performance and strategic decision-making. Partnering with senior leaders across the organisation, you will lead financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, government grant reporting and provide strategic advice and insights that drives financial sustainability, strengthens financial governance and supports the achievement of the College’s strategic objectives.
As our Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll also:
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
- Partner with senior leaders and business units as a trusted advisor, driving financial accountability and performance improvement
- Manage Department of Health, Disability and Ageing reporting, acquittals, and compliance requirements
- Deliver cost modelling and business case analysis to support and inform strategic decisions
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, identify improvement opportunities, and lead the standardisation, optimisation of financial processes, data, and reporting frameworks
- Drive process improvement and financial governance while mentoring team members and contributing to FP&A; capability development.
Skills &
Experience
- CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years’ experience
- Strong budgeting, forecasting & modelling skills
- Proven senior stakeholder partnering experience
- Experience with government/grant reporting.
