About the Role The Senior Manager, Digital Experience leads the digital experience pillar within UOW's Brand and Marketing Division and is responsible for the University's marketing websites, digital platforms, marketing technology ecosystem and social media channels. Reporting to the Associate Director, Campaigns and Delivery, this role drives the strategy, governance and continuous optimisation of UOW's owned digital channels to ensure they deliver high-quality, user-centred and accessible experiences that support the University's strategic objectives.
Leading a specialist team, you will provide the digital, user experience, marketing technology and social media capability that underpins the Division's squad-based delivery model, ensuring UOW remains at the forefront of digital engagement and performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy, management and optimisation of UOW's digital experience, including the University's marketing website estate and digital platforms.
- Oversee the marketing technology ecosystem, including content management, marketing automation, analytics and personalisation capabilities.
- Lead the University's social media strategy and channel management, ensuring a coordinated and effective digital presence.
- Establish and maintain digital governance frameworks, accessibility standards, content quality processes and search optimisation practices.
- Lead and develop a high-performing digital experience team while managing digital capability and delivery across the Division's squad-based model.
About the Team The Brand & Marketing Division plays a critical role in shaping how UOW is understood, chosen and championed by students, partners and communities around the world.

What You'll Bring
- Significant experience leading digital experience, website management or digital marketing functions within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated expertise in user experience, web governance, accessibility (WCAG), search optimisation and improving digital performance outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of marketing technology platforms, including content management systems, marketing automation, analytics and personalisation tools.
- Experience leading social media strategy and managing multi-channel digital engagement.
- Proven leadership capability with strong stakeholder engagement, planning, prioritisation and team development skills.
