About the Role The Senior Manager, Marketing Partners leads the marketing partnering function within UOW's Brand and Marketing Division, serving as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across faculties, portfolios and major business units. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is responsible for ensuring marketing priorities are strategically aligned, well defined and effectively prioritised before progressing to delivery.
Leading a team of Marketing Partners, you will drive a consistent and high-quality partnering approach across the University, helping stakeholders translate strategic objectives into evidence-based marketing plans that deliver meaningful outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Marketing Partners team and oversee high-quality engagement with faculties, portfolios and business units across the University.
- Drive demand shaping, marketing planning and brief development to ensure marketing initiatives are strategically aligned and outcomes focused.
- Manage the prioritisation of marketing demand, balancing stakeholder needs with organisational capacity and strategic priorities.
- Provide expert marketing advice and strategic guidance to senior University leaders.
- Lead and develop a collaborative, high-performing team while contributing to divisional planning, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring
- Significant experience in a senior marketing partnering, strategic marketing, account management or client services role within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated success leading marketing planning, stakeholder engagement and demand-shaping activities.
- Proven leadership experience developing and managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing principles and the ability to translate organisational objectives into effective marketing strategies and plans.
