Senior .NET Developer

- NV1 security clearance is mandatory.
- 12-month contract
- 3 days in office per week in Sydney CBD
- $750 - $825 per day incl. super

An opportunity is available for a Senior .NET Developer to join a large-scale technology environment supporting a Federal Government client in Sydney.

You'll be joining an established delivery team working on business-critical applications, with a strong focus on modern .NET development, Azure, APIs and microservices. This is a hands-on position where you'll have ownership of complex development work while also contributing to technical design and engineering decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop backend applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core
- Build and enhance microservices and REST APIs
- Develop cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure
- Work with Azure Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Storage and Azure SQL
- Optimise application performance, reliability and database queries




- Apply secure development practices across applications, APIs and data
- Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Contribute to solution design and technical decisions

What we're looking for:

- 5-7+ years' experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core
- Strong hands-on Azure development experience
- Experience with microservices and REST APIs
- Strong SQL/database knowledge
- Understanding of OAuth, JWT and secure API development
- Experience with Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
