This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

Take a quick look at "Living and Working" in the Far West What You'll Be Doing The Physiotherapist will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment, intervention and clinical support as part of the First 2000 Days multidisciplinary team, delivering patient-centred care to paediatric and women’s health clients and their families.

- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in Paediatric Physiotherapy and Women’s Health Physiotherapy, including the assessment and management of various clinical presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver Physiotherapy Services in Hospital, Community Health settings, private residences and outreach locations.
- Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, CAFN, Midwifery and Paediatrics, GP’s,



community NGO’s
- Experience in education and support of patients, families and carers, including the ability to build capacity within Paediatric teams.
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence, and willingness to travel across the Far West LHD to deliver care, with possible over night stays.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervision experience, including the ability to support junior staff and contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives. Ability to actively participate in the planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting on programs.
