We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team in South Australia and Recent South Wales. At UGL, we embrace diversity and support flexible ways of working, including part-time opportunities.

About the Role

As a Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of complex energy and infrastructure projects. Working closely with project teams and key stakeholders, you will develop and manage project schedules, monitor performance, identify risks, and provide strategic planning insights that support project success from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and optimise project schedules, plans and timelines across multiple projects.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement and project teams to ensure effective planning and resource allocation.
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify schedule risks, delays and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare progress reports, planning documentation and schedule updates for clients and project leadership teams.




- Conduct delay analysis and support contract-related program assessments and claims.
- Provide planning expertise and data-driven insights to support project decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives and milestones remain aligned.
- Support project controls, forecasting and reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor's Degree or vocational qualification in Engineering, Construction Planning or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in senior planning and scheduling roles within construction, infrastructure, energy, resources or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, delay analysis and program-based claims.
- Proven experience developing and managing site-based project schedules.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Powerproject and/or Microsoft Project.
- Experience using related planning and project controls tools such as QSRA, MS Office, Visio, CAD and 3D/4D software.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of standard forms of contract.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
