Sharp & Carter is partnering with a leading Australian retail organisation that operates a portfolio of well-known consumer brands. As part of a continued investment in pricing, analytics and commercial capability, an exciting opportunity has been created for a Pricing Analyst to join a high-performing team.

This position is ideally suited to a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with large datasets, uncovering trends and influencing business decisions through high-quality analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse pricing, sales, competitor and customer data to deliver actionable commercial insights.
- Maintain and enhance pricing reports, dashboards and datasets to support business decision-making.
- Support pricing and promotional optimisation initiatives to improve sales, profitability and performance.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to assess pricing competitiveness and opportunities.
- Monitor pricing performance and provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with merchandising, planning, finance and commercial stakeholders across the business.




- Support the implementation of pricing and promotional changes while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

- 2-5 years' experience in Pricing Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Management, Retail Insights or a related analytical role.
- Advanced SQL skills (essential).
- Experience sourcing, cleansing and analysing large and complex datasets.
- Experience within retail, FMCG, merchandising, pricing or commercial environments will be highly regarded.
- Exposure to pricing optimisation tools, machine learning concepts or Python would be advantageous.
