Endoscopy Nurse

$42.50 to $54.62/hr (Registered Nurse) + super + NFP salary packaging. Enrolled Nurses also considered, $36.57 to $44.39/hr, part time.

A leading not-for-profit hospital group in Brisbane is looking for an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join a busy 14-theatre complex equipped for surgical, cardiac and robotic-assisted procedures. This role is open to both Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with endoscopy experience, and is a permanent opportunity for a candidate with at least 3 years' endoscopy nursing experience.

About the Role

- Provide pre, intra and post-procedure nursing care across a busy endoscopy caseload
- Assist with scope handling, decontamination and reprocessing in line with infection control standards
- Work within a multidisciplinary team supporting gastroenterologists and surgeons
- Participate in the standard theatre roster, with flexibility required across all shifts including weekends
- Shift and weekend penalties paid on top of base rate for eligible staff

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3 years' experience in an endoscopy unit (not open to current graduates)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Demonstrated endoscopy nursing competency, including scope reprocessing standards
- Willingness and ability to work the full theatre roster, including weekends and all shifts
- Current National Police Check, or ability to obtain and maintain one
