A leading not-for-profit hospital group in Brisbane is looking for an experienced Scrub Scout Nurse to join their Day Surgery Centre, working short and long shifts on a fortnightly roster, 6am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. No nights and no weekends, a genuinely different offer to the rest of theatre. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a nurse with at least 3 years' scrub/scout experience.

About the Role

- Scrub and scout across a day surgery caseload
- Work within a Day Surgery Centre team, run separately from the main theatre roster
- Maintain sterile technique, instrumentation and case preparation for day surgery procedures
- Work short and long shifts on a fortnightly roster, 6am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, with no nights or weekends

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Scrub Scout/Perioperative Registered Nurse (not open to current graduates)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated scrub and scout competency across a day surgery caseload
- Availability to work the Day Surgery Centre roster (6am to 8pm, Monday to Friday)
- Current National Police Check, or ability to obtain and maintain one
- Full Australian working rights required
