Anaesthetic Nurse

$42.50 to $54.62/hr + super + NFP salary packaging

A leading not-for-profit hospital group in Brisbane is looking for an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join a busy 14-theatre complex equipped for surgical, cardiac and robotic-assisted procedures. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a nurse with at least 3 years' anaesthetic nursing experience.

About the Role

- Provide anaesthetic nursing support across a varied surgical caseload, including cardiac and robotic-assisted procedures
- Prepare, check and manage anaesthetic equipment, drugs and monitoring
- Support anaesthetists throughout induction, maintenance and emergence, working within a multidisciplinary theatre team
- Participate in the standard theatre roster, with flexibility required across all shifts including weekends
- Shift and weekend penalties paid on top of base rate for eligible staff

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Anaesthetic Nurse (not open to new graduates)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated anaesthetic nursing competency across a general surgical caseload
- Willingness and ability to work the full theatre roster, including weekends and all shifts
- Current National Police Check, or ability to obtain and maintain one
- Full Australian working rights required
