Scrub Scout Nurse - Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT & General Surgery

$42.50 to $54.62/hr + super + NFP salary packaging

A leading not-for-profit hospital group in Brisbane is looking for an experienced Scrub Scout Nurse to join a busy 14-theatre complex equipped for surgical, cardiac and robotic-assisted procedures, working across Orthopaedic, Urology, ENT and General Surgery lists. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a nurse with at least 3 years' scrub/scout experience.

About the Role

- Scrub and scout across Orthopaedic, Urology, ENT and General Surgery lists
- Work within a multidisciplinary theatre team supporting surgical, cardiac and robotic-assisted procedures
- Maintain sterile technique, instrumentation and case preparation across a varied specialty caseload
- Participate in the standard theatre roster, with flexibility required across all shifts including weekends
- Shift and weekend penalties paid on top of base rate for eligible staff

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Scrub Scout/Perioperative Registered Nurse (not open to new graduates)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated scrub and scout competency in at least one of Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT or General Surgery
- Willingness and ability to work the full theatre roster, including weekends and all shifts
- Current National Police Check, or ability to obtain and maintain one
