Precast Concrete Labourers | Casual Job Pool | Dry Creek
Labourpower is currently seeking reliable and physically fit Precast Concrete Labourers to join our casual job pool for upcoming assignments with leading precast concrete manufacturers in Dry Creek and surrounding areas.
We are specifically looking for candidates who are flexible and available to start work at the "drop of a hat". Assignments can become available with very little notice, so this opportunity is best suited to people who can be contacted and ready to work quickly when required.
These roles suit dependable, safety-focused candidates who are comfortable working in very physically demanding industrial and production environments.
About the Role
Depending on the assignment, duties may include:
- Assisting with the manufacture and production of precast concrete products
- Preparing moulds and formwork for concrete pours
- Stripping moulds and demoulding finished concrete products
- Finishing, patching and quality checking concrete products
- Operating hand and power tools safely
- General factory housekeeping and labouring duties
- Maintaining a clean and protected work environment
These are hands-on roles requiring repetitive lifting, manual handling and the ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
Typical Shift Times
Monday - Friday | Day Shift
Typical shifts may operate between 7:00am and 5:00pm, depending on the assignment and operational requirements.
As this is a casual job pool, hours and assignments are not guaranteed and may vary depending on client demand.
To Be Considered You Must Have
- Previous experience in precast concrete,
concrete manufacturing, construction labouring or a similar heavy industrial environment
- Ability to safely perform repetitive manual handling and lift up to 25kg
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability - consistent attendance is essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Monday - Friday availability
- Ability to accept work and start at short notice
- Reliable transport
- Willingness to complete Drug & Alcohol screening, Reference and Criminal History checks
Forklift (LF) licence is advantageous but not essential.
