The Role

This is a senior and highly visible technology leadership opportunity with responsibility for the systems and technology environment supporting a growing international retail and ecommerce business. Working closely with executive leadership, you will take ownership of technology operations, key systems projects, external technology partners and the continued development of a scalable technology ecosystem. The workplace is centred around Shopify, NetSuite and a broader suite of integrated retail and ecommerce platforms, with significant activity across systems integration, AI, security and operational scalability. This opportunity will suit a hands on technology leader who combines strong retail systems experience with the commercial capability to influence technology direction.

Responsibilities

* Own the operational performance and continued development of the organisation's technology and systems environment

* Lead major technology initiatives across Shopify, NetSuite and the wider retail applications ecosystem

* Oversee technology infrastructure, cloud platforms,



business critical applications, security and system availability

* Lead systems integration and optimisation initiatives across ecommerce, ERP, inventory and customer platforms

* Support the continued adoption and governance of AI capability across the organisation

* Manage external technology partners across infrastructure, cyber security, support, development and specialist consulting

* Maintain appropriate governance across data integrity, privacy, compliance, technology risk and security

* Partner closely with ecommerce, digital, operations and senior leadership to translate business priorities into scalable technology solutions

* Manage technology budgeting, forecasting, vendor relationships and investment planning

* Establish effective technology documentation, project governance and risk management practices

* Support business change and adoption as new technology, systems and processes are introduced

Candidate Experience

* Strong technology leadership experience within retail, DTC ecommerce, fashion or a closely aligned consumer environment, with practical knowledge of the systems supporting complex digital retail operations

* Strong experience across Shopify and ERP environments, ideally NetSuite, combined with knowledge of systems integration, APIs and the wider retail and ecommerce technology ecosystem

* Demonstrated experience leading technology and systems delivery while remaining hands on across implementations, integrations, vendors, security, governance and technology operations
