Looking for a media role where your work makes a real impact? Join the Health and Community Services Directorate's (HCSD's) high-performing Media and Issues Management team and help shape the public conversation on some of the ACT Government's most important health and community services priorities.

You'll provide strategic media advice, manage issues and reputational risks, respond to media enquiries, and create compelling content for ministers and senior executives. We're looking for an experienced media professional with strong writing skills, sound judgement and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Eligibility/Other requirements:

- Demonstrated experience in media relations, issues management and stakeholder engagement, with strong communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage sensitive issues and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.




- As this role is likely to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and young people, cultural awareness, and capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is highly desirable.

Notes: A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
