Role Overview

Advance Thinking is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a major enterprise technology transformation as it progresses through implementation and transitions into BAU technology operations.

This is a hands-on senior delivery role requiring someone who can take ownership in a complex environment, work through ambiguity and proactively drive outcomes across technology, business, operations and third-party providers.

The successful candidate will bring strong enterprise technology project delivery experience, ideally combined with service operations, operational readiness or transition-to-run experience.

The Role:

You will be responsible for:

- Leading key project activities through implementation, go-live and transition into BAU operations
- Driving operational readiness, service transition and handover activities
- Developing and managing project plans, milestones and delivery priorities
- Managing financials, risks, issues, dependencies and governance
- Planning and facilitating structured knowledge-transfer and handover sessions
- Ensuring documentation, processes and technical artefacts are effectively transitioned
- Identifying gaps and proactively driving them through to resolution
- Managing relationships across business, technology, operations and third-party vendors/SI partners
- Coordinating stakeholders across onshore and offshore teams
- Providing clear reporting and communication to senior stakeholders
- Applying lessons learned from previous releases to improve future delivery
- Supporting the continued maturity of delivery and operational ways of working

About You:

You will bring:





- Significant experience as a Senior Project Manager within large enterprise technology environments
- Strong track record delivering complex technology initiatives through implementation and go-live
- Experience across service operations, service transition, operational readiness or transition-to-run
- Strong senior stakeholder and vendor/SI management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, risks, issues and dependencies
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to operate independently
- Confidence working in environments where scope or processes may not be fully defined
- Experience across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience working with distributed/onshore/offshore teams
- Insurance and/or Guidewire experience highly regarded, but not essential
