What you will do

As Senior Project Officer, you will support redress schemes through policy and project work. You will help ensure schemes meet legal, policy and reporting requirements.

You will

- provide clear advice on redress matters and improve policies and procedures
- prepare useful briefs and advice on issues affecting redress schemes
- maintain accurate records and data to support service reporting
- develop practical solutions for emerging issues and priority projects
- coordinate careful decommissioning work while meeting scheme requirements.

About you

No mandatory qualification is listed for this role. A tertiary qualification in project management, policy development and/or public administration is highly desirable.

You have strong project management experience in a regulated public service setting. You can analyse complex information and turn it into explicit advice. You can solve problems, manage projects and support compliance and reporting. You are resilient, empathetic and able to work with others through change.

You should also have

- systems thinking and the ability to understand links between policy, services and communities
- policy design skills that help you define problems and develop clear options
- critical thinking and practical problem-solving skills that lead to useful outcomes




- influence and collaboration skills that help you build support and work across teams.
