Where you'll be working
Main office is the newly renovated ANZAC Research Institute on the campus of the Concord Repatriation General Hospital which has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years with a proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage a dynamic portfolio of regulatory-compliant research, overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of projects to deliver high-quality research outcomes within established timelines, governance frameworks, and project plans.
Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the Defence and veteran ecosystem, including Defence members, veterans and their families, healthcare providers, government agencies, veteran organisations, researchers, and community partners, to ensure research priorities are informed by need and translated into meaningful health outcomes.
Promote and position the ANZAC Research Institute as a leading centre for military and veteran health research, representing the Institute at state, national and international forums and fostering collaborative, translational and clinical research partnerships that improve the health and wellbeing of current and former Defence members.

Ideal candidate The ideal candidate will have relevant postgraduate qualifications and substantial experience working in a multidisciplinary Defence health environment, veterans’ health, or closely related healthcare research environment.
They will bring a solid understanding of the health and wellbeing needs of Defence members, veterans, and their families, together with demonstrated experience in developing and delivering high-quality translational or clinical research.
