- Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $133,348- $146,945 per annum plus superannuation
- Temporary role (up to 12 months) based in The Rocks, NSW

Are you an urban planning or infrastructure professional with a strong understanding of government property, planning legislation, and the unique needs of the creative sector? Join Create NSW as a Senior Space Analyst and help shape the future of cultural infrastructure across NSW. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise to complex and meaningful projects, supporting the delivery of spaces that enable creative practitioners, organisations and communities to work, create and connect.

About the role

As Senior Space Analyst, you will provide specialist property and space advice across a diverse portfolio of cultural infrastructure.

You will work collaboratively within Create NSW and other government agencies and stakeholders, utilising internal and external property databases, spatial data and site investigations to identify, assess and shortlist suitable properties that meet project and operational requirements. You will help balance commercial, operational, spatial and cultural considerations to support fit-for-purpose and sustainable creative spaces.

You will assess current and future space requirements, identify opportunities and risks, and develop practical, evidence-based advice to support strategic decision-making.

About You To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of property functions within a government context,



including commercial partnerships, leasing, acquisitions, divestments, renewals and relocations.
- An understanding of NSW planning legislation and its application to property and infrastructure matters.
- An understanding of cultural infrastructure, including the unique operational, spatial and commercial requirements of creative spaces and the needs of creative practitioners and organisations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex information and provide explicit, practical advice.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with government, industry and creative sector stakeholders.
