Baulkham Hills Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted part of the Hills District community for over 50 years. Located in Sydney’s northwest, we are a well-established companion animal practice with a diverse and interesting caseload including dogs, cats, small exotics, birds and wildlife.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, primarily Monday to Friday, with limited weekend shifts. You’ll be joining a highly collaborative and supportive team of 6 veterinarians and 10 dedicated support team members. This role offers the opportunity to build a rewarding, long-term nursing career in a friendly, professional environment with loyal and appreciative clients.
For the right person, there is also scope to take on greater responsibility and develop your leadership skills as you grow within the team.
The Role
You’ll be hands-on across the full scope of veterinary nursing, including:
- High-level nursing and surgical support
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Anaesthetic and surgical monitoring
- Dentistry and advanced medical procedures
- Reception and general clinic duties as required
- IDEXX lab, running bloods in-house
Due to our strong surgical and medical caseload, experience with advanced nursing skills is desirable.
About You
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is preferred, not essential (or equivalent, recognised in Australia)
- Proven experience working as a Veterinary Nurse
- Interested in career development and exploring leadership pathways
- Confident working independently and within a team

- Strong organisational and communication skills
