Tate Auto Electrics is a busy and well-established automotive electrical business looking for a Service Advisor/Workshop Coordinator to join our team.

This is a great chance for an experienced Auto Electrician looking to get off the tools and move into a customer-facing workshop coordination role, while still putting your automotive knowledge and experience to good use.

We are looking for someone who understands the automotive industry, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and can confidently help keep a busy workshop running smoothly.

The Role

Working closely with our workshop and management team, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing cash sale bookings and customer enquiries
- Booking vehicles in and coordinating workshop schedules
- Communicating with customers regarding jobs, pricing and progress
- Preparing and managing job cards and workshop paperwork
- Parts ordering, sourcing and coordinating parts availability
- Liaising with suppliers and parts distributors
- Assisting with job costing and quoting
- Helping coordinate technicians and workshop workflow
- Keeping workshop records and customer information accurate and up to date
- Following up outstanding jobs and customer requirements
- Assisting with day-to-day workshop administration
- Supporting the management team to ensure the workshop runs efficiently
- Providing a high level of customer service from booking through to vehicle collection

About You We are ideally looking for someone with:

- Qualified Auto Electrician
- Previous experience in a workshop environment




- A genuine desire to move off the tools and into a service/workshop coordination role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced, busy workshop
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and technicians
- A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
