Close Tolerance Sheet Metal is a precision sheet metal fabrication shop in Bayswater. CNC turret punching, folding, welding and assembly for electrical, industrial, commercial and specialised clients. Small team, small batches, high variety.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricating and assembling sheet metal components from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
- MIG and TIG welding across steel, stainless and aluminium
- Operating a range of fabrication equipment including press brakes, turret punch and hand tools
- Finishing, fit-up and quality checking of your own work
About you
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or recognised equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistently high-quality work
- Able to take a drawing and produce a finished part without supervision
- Competent in MIG and TIG
- Confident reading engineering drawings, including flat patterns and tolerancing
- WA driver's licence and Australian work rights
- Operating a range of fabrication equipment including press brakes and hand tools
