Join a leading designer furniture company with expertise across commercial and residential projects in the role of Showroom Sales Consultant.

You will be responsible for servicing trade clients across all brand touchpoints, including face to face project meetings, phone calls, emails, quoting and invoicing. Your client base will include Victorian and interstate clients from SA and WA.

This position is based in South-east Melbourne and requires one weekend day on a rotating fortnightly roster. It would be ideal for someone with existing A&D; trade sales experience, and has the potential to progress into an outbound BDM role.

Key responsibilities

- Proactively nurture and service relationships with Interior Design clients across VIC, SA and WA
- Conduct showroom presentations and assist with hosting industry events
- Provide expert product selection advice and guide clients on aesthetic and functional options for their project
- Identify and pursue opportunities for Business Development and strategic business growth
- Accurately maintain the internal CRM with client and project notes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, including new collection releases
- Work towards and exceed individual and team sales KPIs

About you

- Prior experience working within a showroom or designer furniture or homewares workplace, ideally in a sales function
- Knowledge and genuine interest in interior design across the residential and commercial market




- Excellent communication and elevated personal presentation
- Strong ability to build relationships and rapport with clients, establishing yourself as the 'go-to' person for all your clients
- Drive and enthusiasm to be part of a dynamic and positive team culture, contributing towards a shared goal
