FCC Construction Australia has been selected as the principal Contractor on Queensland’s largest ever social and affordable housing project. The Project will be the largest modular building development constructed in Australia to date.

Please note this role is based out of our Cairns project site office (located at Woree) and is not a FIFO role The Role:

To support in the delivery of our Cairns-based project, we are seeking an experienced and energetic Site and Project Engineers to jump on board.

More specifically your role scope will cover;

- HSE: Promote safe work practices, participate in safety meetings,



identify site risks and support HSE compliance and documentation.
- Site & Technical Delivery: Coordinate day-to-day site activities, review drawings and specifications, resolve technical issues and support construction delivery.
- Scope & Change Management: Monitor project scope, identify changes and variations, manage RFIs and provide technical input to minimise scope creep.
- Subcontractors & Procurement: Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, support procurement, assess performance and assist with claims and commercial matters.
- Programme & Quality: Monitor progress against programme, coordinate works and interfaces, and ensure construction meets project quality requirements.
- Cost, Risk & Project Controls: Monitor costs, quantities and progress, identify risks and opportunities, maintain project records and support forecasting and reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams, coordinate meetings and maintain explicit project communication.
- Project Support: Provide technical and project management support to the Project Manager and contribute to the successful delivery of the project.

Competencies we're seeking:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or project/construction management.
- 5+ years relevant construction project delivery experience; civil and/or building projects
- Have a sound understanding of typical construction specifications used in the Australian construction industry.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience.
- Valid Driver's license
