About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Supervisor to join our growing construction team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of custom residential homes and commercial construction projects, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, to a high standard of workmanship, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications and construction schedules.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong trade coordination, construction knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to proactively identify and resolve site issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage construction projects from site commencement through to completion and handover.
- Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries.
- Maintain construction schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship at every stage.
- Ensure works comply with approved architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and relevant building requirements.
- Identify construction issues early and coordinate practical solutions.
- Review plans, engineering documentation and construction details before works commence.
- Coordinate site requirements with the construction, estimating and administration teams.
- Monitor materials and ensure orders and deliveries align with the construction program.
- Maintain clean, organised and professionally managed construction sites.




- Ensure WHS requirements and company safety procedures are followed by all trades and contractors.
- Conduct quality checks before progressing to subsequent construction stages.
- Coordinate building inspections and rectify identified items promptly.
- Manage defects, incomplete works and quality issues with relevant trades.
- Maintain accurate site records, photographs, progress updates and construction documentation.
- Provide regular project progress reports to management.
- Coordinate practical completion inspections, defect rectification and final handover.
- Assist with post-handover maintenance matters where required.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, consultants, trades, suppliers and other stakeholders.

About You We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their projects and has a strong focus on quality, scheduling and accountability.

You will ideally have

- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Construction Supervisor or Site Manager within the Australian construction industry.
- Strong experience in custom residential construction, with commercial construction experience highly regarded.
- Sound knowledge of Australian residential construction methods and sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans and specifications.




- Strong understanding of construction quality standards and site safety requirements.
- Excellent trade and subcontractor management skills.
- Strong scheduling and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make practical site decisions.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence dealing with clients, trades, consultants and suppliers.
- Valuable computer and construction management system skills.

Essential Requirements

- Relevant Australian construction/site supervision experience.
- Valid Victorian Driver Licence.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Ability to travel between construction sites across Melbourne.

A relevant building qualification, trade background, Diploma of Building and Construction, or equivalent industry experience will be highly regarded.
