An opportunity exists for an experienced project professional to coordinate and manage the delivery of the Climate Smart Agriculture project across the Northern Tablelands Local Land services region. Funded through the Australian Government's Natural Heritage Trust, this role will play a key part in supporting sustainable and productive agriculture by working closely with landholders, industry, community groups and partner organisations to deliver project outcomes that improve farm resilience and environmental stewardship.

As the Senior Land Services Project Officer, you will lead project implementation, manage budgets and reporting requirements, coordinate project activities, and build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project delivery.

About The Role In this role you will:

- Lead and coordinate delivery of the Climate Smart Agriculture project across the Northern Tablelands region.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, governance requirements and reporting obligations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with landholders, community groups, industry representatives, contractors and government stakeholders.
- Oversee project activities, contractors and service providers to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on project outcomes using established project management and MERI frameworks.
- Provide evidence-based advice and recommendations to support project objectives.
- Facilitate engagement, extension and capacity-building activities that support sustainable farming practices.
- Contribute to Local Land Services strategic priorities and regional outcomes.

About You You are a collaborative and results-focused professional with experience managing complex projects and engaging diverse stakeholders.

You Will Demonstrate





- Experience delivering projects within agreed budgets, timeframes and governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation capabilities.
- The ability to analyse information and provide sound, evidence-based advice.
- Experience coordinating multiple priorities and balancing competing stakeholder needs.
- A commitment to customer service and achieving positive outcomes for landholders and communities.
- An understanding of agriculture, natural resource management, environmental programs or related fields will be highly regarded.
- Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
