You will primarily be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing concrete cutting equipment. This is a hands-on position working with a range of mechanical equipment in a busy, established concrete cutting company.
Key responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair concrete cutting equipment including 2-stroke concrete saws, petrol-powered saws and equipment, and diesel saws and small diesel engines
- Maintain pumps and other small engines
- Perform general mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose faults and get equipment back into working order
- Carry out preventative servicing and maintenance
About you
- Mechanically minded and hands-on
- Experienced with 2-stroke engines
- Comfortable working on petrol and diesel equipment
- Able to diagnose mechanical problems
- Good with tools and machinery
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently
- Someone who takes pride in doing a job properly
- Experience working on Stihl, Husqvarna or similar concrete-cutting saws highly regarded
