Small Motors Mechanic

Ellenbrook Mowers is looking for a reliable and skilled Small Motors Mechanic to join our team.

We are seeking someone with knowledge and/or previous experience in the small engine, outdoor power equipment, mechanical, or related industry. The successful applicant will ideally have hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of small engines and outdoor power equipment.

About the Role

As a Small Motors Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a variety of outdoor power equipment and small engines, including:

- Lawn mowers and ride-on mowers
- Whipper snippers and brushcutters
- Chainsaws
- Blowers
- Hedge trimmers
- Generators
- Pressure washers
- Other small engine and outdoor power equipment

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical faults
- Service and repair small engines and outdoor power equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing
- Carry out engine tune-ups and adjustments
- Replace worn or damaged components
- Test equipment following repairs
- Identify parts and components required for repairs
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop




- Provide friendly and professional service to customers when required
- Complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures

About You The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with small engines, outdoor power equipment or similar machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical hands-on skills
- The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot faults
- Valuable attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A reliable and positive attitude
- A strong commitment to quality workmanship

We do provide Husqvarna Training, however we are after someone with some experience in the industry.
