Key Responsibilities

- LeadanddeveloptheHRandRecruitmentteam
- Driverecruitmentstrategiesfocusedonattractingsuitablyskilledandappropriatelyverifiedcandidates
- Overseecandidatescreening,employmenthistoryverification,skillsandexperienceassessmentsandrecruitmentcompliance
- Manageend-to-endrecruitment,onboardingandworkforcemobilisation
- Supportrecruitmentofinternationalcandidatesandmanagesponsorshipandvisa-relateddocumentationforeligibleemployees
- Partnerwithoperationalleaderstoidentifyworkforceneedsandbuildfuturetalentpipelines




- Maintainstrongrelationshipswithlabourhireprovidersandrecruitmentsuppliers
- Manageonboardingprocessesandensurenewemployeesareappropriatelyintegratedintothebusiness
- Provideadviceonemployeerelations,performancemanagement,investigations,disciplinarymattersandgrievances
- InterpretandapplyAustralianemploymentlegislation,ModernAwards,EnterpriseAgreementsandinternalpolicies
- Monitorrecruitmentperformance,workforcedataandHRmetrics
- Coordinateemployeereviews,trainingrequirementsandskillsmatrixmanagement
- LeadtheongoingimprovementofHRsystems,policiesandrecruitmentprocesses
- Promoteconsistentandtransparenthiringpracticesacrossallareasofthebusiness

Requirements & Eligibility

- Minimum5yearsofexperienceinaseniorHRandrecruitmentleadershiprole
- Provenexperiencemanaginghigh-volumerecruitmentforblue-collarandoperationalworkforces
- Experienceleadingrecruitmentprocessesinvolvingcandidatescreening,skillsassessmentandemploymentverification
- StrongunderstandingofAustralianemploymentlegislation,ModernAwardsandEnterpriseAgreements
- Experiencerecruitingandonboardingemployer-sponsoredorinternationalcandidatesishighlydesirable
- Experiencewithinconstruction,mining,fabrication,resourcesorheavyindustrialenvironmentsishighlyregarded
