A major Australian organisation is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for a large AI driven Servicenow automation initiate.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide automation solutions, combining hands-on engineering with technical direction across DevOps, CI/CD and AI-driven automation.
The role will require you to work in the office 2 days a week. Initially a 6 month contract with possible extension.

Responsibilities:

- Architecting standardized, self-healing ITA test frameworks and automate the CI/CD to ServiceNow ITSM change-approval pipeline.
- Design CD/CI pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Harness
- Govern Agentic AI test generation and zero-touch release gates
- Design, and implementation of AI-driven testing and automated release orchestration across digital technology platforms.

Key Skills / experience

- 15+ years of progressive technical experience across Automation, DevOps, or SRE




- Strategic experience orchestrating ServiceNow DevOps/Change Management with major CI/CD engines at an enterprise scale.
- Proven track record implementing Agentic AI, LLM application architectures, and AIOps frameworks into production engineering workflows.
- Strong Azure DevOps
- CI/CD experience
- Software engineering experience
- Python development experience-
- Experience with ServiceNow Change Management
- Solid understanding of engineering environments and experience working directly with squads to onboard automation solutions, improve pipelines and identify opportunities to automate across the SDLC
