Due to continued growth, Shadforth is looking for an experienced Tilt Tray Driver to support our civil construction projects across our Southern Brisbane regions.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of earthmoving plant, equipment and machinery between our projects across the region. You’ll work closely with our site and logistics teams to ensure equipment is delivered where it’s needed safely and on time. Your start and finish base will be confirmed based on the successful candidate’s location.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a tilt tray truck to transport plant, machinery and equipment
- Safely load, secure, transport and unload equipment
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain a high standard of vehicle care
- Coordinate with site teams to manage deliveries and collections
- Complete required transport documentation and comply with fatigue management requirements
- Follow all road transport, load restraint and workplace health and safety requirements
- Represent Shadforth professionally when working across our projects and locations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current HR Driver Licence
- Previous tilt tray driving experience (essential)
- Knowledge of earthmoving machinery and experience loading and securing civil construction plant and equipment
- Experience winching loads on and off a tilt tray, with robust knowledge of load restraint and transport safety requirements
- Construction White Card
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A strong commitment to safety and looking after equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
