Your new roleAs a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. Duties may include:
- End-to-end payroll processing
- Interpreting awards and enterprise agreements
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Managing timesheets and leave requests
- Resolving payroll queries from employees and managers
- Payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Maintaining employee payroll records and compliance requirements
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in payroll processing
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements
- High attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- The ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Availability to commence at short notice will be highly regarded
