Analytics Manager, Credit Risk and Audit

The Opportunity

A leading financial services organisation is looking for an experienced credit risk skilled to join their Group Audit team. This is a chance to make a genuine impact on how the organisation manages consumer lending risk including reviewing portfolio performance, testing the effectiveness of risk controls, and shaping recommendations that strengthen both customer and business outcomes.

You'll be joining a business that takes its regulatory and risk obligations seriously, and this role sits right at the heart of that: helping ensure lending decisions remain sound, sustainable and compliant as the portfolio evolves.

This is a permanent Sydney-based position, with flexible hybrid arrangements on offer.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

- A strong background in financial services, with solid end-to-end exposure to consumer credit risk, from policy and decisioning through to portfolio strategy and performance
- Sound commercial judgement, with the ability to spot emerging risks and assess how effectively controls are managing them
- A track record of leading initiatives,



prioritising competing demands, and consistently delivering results
- Comfort working with large, complex datasets, ideally using tools such as SQL, SAS, Tableau or Power BI (advantageous, not essential)
- Familiarity with Australian credit risk regulation, with automated credit decisioning experience considered a plus
