About the role

TKR Plant Hire is seeking an experienced HR Water Truck Operator to join our team in Logan Reserve.

This role involves the safe and efficient operation of a HR water truck across civil construction and resource project works. We are looking for skilled and reliable operators who can work independently and as part of a team on active construction sites.

Key responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate a HR Water Truck in accordance with site requirements and project specifications.

- Drive the water truck on public roads and between work areas as required.

- Carry out water carting, dust suppression and other site duties as directed.

- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks.

- Follow all relevant road rules, safety procedures, site requirements and SWMS.

- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, other operators and site personnel.

- Complete work to the required standards and specifications.

- Maintain accurate work records and report any faults, damage or maintenance requirements.

- Maintain a clean, safe and presentable machine and work environment.

- Complete online and site inductions as required.

What we're looking for

- Current HR driver’s licence.

- Demonstrated experience operating HR Water Trucks and similar heavy vehicles.

- Previous experience in civil construction or resource projects.

- Good knowledge of safe heavy vehicle operation and site procedures.





- Positive understanding of road rules and safety requirements.

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

- Good communication skills.

- Commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Ability to work independently and reliably.
