About the role

Blue Lake Milling Pty Ltd is seeking Production Operator's to join our manufacturing facility in Forrestfield, WA.

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our milling operations.

We are seeking motivated people who are keen to learn a new skill and build a long-term career in the oat milling industry.

No previous experience is required. What matters most is a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

As part of a leading oat milling operation, you will receive on-the-job training and development opportunities while working with a supportive team in a growing business.

Morning Shift (6am - 2pm) & Night Shift (10pm - 6am) roles available, please advise in your application of your preference.

What you'll be doing

- Operating and monitoring milling machinery and production equipment in accordance with operational procedures

- Conducting routine maintenance checks and reporting any equipment faults or irregularities to supervisors

- Inspecting raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

- Recording production data and maintaining accurate logs of output, downtime and any incidents

- Following standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

- Assisting with cleaning and organisation of the production area

- Liaising with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and effective communication

- Troubleshooting minor operational issues and making adjustments to machinery as required

What we're looking for





- Previous experience as a Production Operator or in a similar manufacturing or assembly role

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control standards

- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks

- A proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace

- Reliability and the ability to work in a team environment

- Basic numeracy and literacy skills

- Flexibility to work shifts if required by operational needs

- A valid driver's licence is desirable

- Experience with milling or grain processing equipment is preferred
