Cropping Manager – Wheatbelt WA

$130,000 + accommodation

The Opportunity

One of our clients is seeking an experienced Cropping Manager to join their farming operation in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia.

Located north of Perth, this is an chance for an experienced agricultural professional to take on a key role within a hands-on farming operation, working closely with the owners and taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the cropping program.

The farm also runs cattle, so experience working across both cropping and livestock will be highly regarded.

About the Role

As Cropping Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the farm, with responsibilities including:

- Managing and coordinating cropping operations from seeding through to harvest

- Operating and overseeing modern farm machinery and equipment

- Planning and coordinating day-to-day farm activities

- Monitoring crops and identifying issues throughout the growing season

- Working closely with the owners to ensure cropping operations are completed efficiently

- Machinery maintenance, servicing and basic mechanical fault-finding

- Managing general farm maintenance and infrastructure

- Assisting with cattle and livestock operations when required

- Supervising and coordinating other staff and contractors





- Ensuring a high standard of safety, organisation and housekeeping across the property

About You

We are looking for someone who is experienced in broadacre cropping and is confident working in a hands-on farm workplace.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in a Cropping Manager, Farm Manager, or senior farm-hand position

- Strong broadacre cropping experience

- Experience operating tractors, headers, sprayers and other modern farm machinery

- Good mechanical and maintenance skills

- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for day-to-day operations

- Good communication and organisational skills

- A strong work ethic and practical, hands-on approach

- Experience with cattle/livestock will be highly regarded

- A current driver's licence
